Taking Action for Change Part Two:

Alright, we want change, we are going to take action to make that change but there is no time in the day.  So what do you do now.  Well you have to make time.  I'm sure when you had your first child and you worked full time you didn't know how on earth you would do everything,  Well you did it.  Maybe not as well as you wanted but you did.  So lets make some plans.

First you need to have a talk with you family and explain to them what you are going to do and why.  Let them know that you need their help and understanding and it will benefit you all in the long run.  Yes I know they may balk at first but everyone has to adjust and you have to hold firm.  No longer will you have the time to do it all.  So change or stagnate what will it be?  Wait till your kids are grown?  That my friend is just an excuse not to change.  

Alright here we go, write out everyone's chores and responsibilities and have them sign the contract.  Hey do the kids want to go to Disney world someday soon?  Does your husband/significant other want to take that big hunting/fishing trip?  Do you want that second honeymoon in Paris?  Then everyone has to do their part.  Or stay home, what will it be the easy way or the work together way?   

Now how am I going to fit in those extra things I need to do?  Here are just some suggestions to help show you a way.   While the children are eating get yourself ready for the day and listen to one of your CD's for self improvement or your new home business or whatever you are working towards changing.  Now, see how you fit one new thing in today and every day you can find a small place to fit another in. You can make a quick phone call using your Bluetooth while getting ready. As the kids come from their rooms to go to school have them  bring their dirty clothes to the laundry room.  

While you are cooking dinner you can listen in on a training call or do a coaching call.  One thing you must not do is work during dinner.  All of the family sits down to eat together. No Phones, no Tv's, no interruptions.  This will be vital so you can all talk, listen to each other, solve problems for the day and make plans for tomorrow.  You must schedule one evening, say Friday evening or Sunday afternoon, as family time and all go have some fun together. Same goes for you and your significant other a must have one date night a week.

This is how you start change.  You learn to multitask even more than you do now.  Take action today to make your tomorrow a success.   Get fired up-Take Action
